It is a lyght transfer switch and not sure of the model.
Rv transfer switch clicking.
This video is a bit long but i tried to cover a lot of material in it.
The transfer switch was clicking continually.
That is a very strange number in the electrical world.
The inverter clicking is what you would hear when everything is quiet.
We were sitting outside tonight and could hear a click every few minutes.
I have had a loud buzzing noise inside my landmark for some time now.
It is an educational exercise to watch what is happening and to hear the sound to differentiate it from the inverter.
I had a similar issue start while running on generator power.
Any ideas what would cause the swith to make this noise.
The automatic transfer switch is installed before the breaker panel.
Hopefully this will be helpful to those trying to figure out why they don t have power.
I checked power coming into the transfer switch from the genny and discovered 87 volts ac on one leg the other leg was fine.
You can take the cover off the transfer switch and watch the buss mechanically switch when shore power is removed or supplied or the generator starts.
After searching around and removing the panels in the cargo department i found the source being the main shore power transfer switch surge guard rv power protection transfer switch model 41260.
Turned off gen restarted and did same thing.
An automatic transfer switch is a three way switch that will switch power between two inputs and connect it into a single output.
5th trip with our 4000 started the generator ran for 5 minutes then the automatic transfer swith started making clicking studdering sound and then no power.
Turned off all ac s restarted gen turned on 1 ac then the second and transfer switch made no noise and power stayed.

Disconnect the rv from its power supply before you attempt to inspect and repair any component of the vehicle electrical system.
We have tracked it down to the transfer switch.
