Rv electrical plugs not working.
Keep this anatomy in mind as you try the following.
There are several videos on this procedure however the easiest is to use a non contact voltage tester after the circuit breaker.
I recently bought a 1994 winnebago vectra.
I replaced the gfci and double 15 amp breaker.
Your problem will be in your chassis electrical system and not your coach electrical system.
All the lights are working just not getting 110 to the gfci or outlets.
And with some there will be another fuse panel under the dash.
Referring to the question of the receptacle not working but the breaker is on and the hot and the neutral side of his receptacle showed 120v you can see here that checking anywhere on the neutral conductors ahead of the break in the circuit will show a reading of at or near 120 volts the same potential that will be on the hot side of the circuit.
Some of my electrical plugs are not working.
First you could have too many devices plugged into the circuit.
A circuit is one breaker feeding several outlets or even lights check your breaker panel and notice if one of the switches are out.
Depending on your rv manufacturer you will have a fuse panel under the dash probably on one of the fenders for easy access.
1 check generator circuit breaker s and reset if needed.
I tested all the outlets with a tester and got nothing except open ground reading on 1 outlet.
It can be overwhelming and the whole idea of having an rv instead of traditional camping is to have all of the amenities of home.
There are a few reasons that this could happen.
A refrigerator working appliances lights and other machinery run on electricity and when electrical problems arise you need to know how to troubleshoot them.
There s nothing worse than an electrical problem to bring your rv road trip adventure to a halt.
Nine out of ten times the reason is the ground fault interrupter circuit gfci tripped and needs to be re set.
If your home has older wiring the third hole the ground may not be present.
Some of my outlets stopped working suddenly.
I had shore electric on every outlet working properly and then unplugged electric and turned the generator on and had no power to electrical outlets.
120 volt power is also provided to the converter which is a 12 volt.
This didn t fix the issue.
Have you ever plugged something in to an electrical outlet in your rv and it didn t work.
The only outlet working is the one to the microwave.
Trying to diagnose an electrical problem remotely is difficult at best but here are some things to check.
