First i ll start off with talking about the benefits and pros of powder coating a motorcycle frame.

Frame preparation is the most important step in the powder coating process. To do it the frame is sand blasted till its spotlessly clean then the powder is applied by some kind of static electricity set up to make it stick once it is fully coated the frame is baked in an oven to melt the powder and stick nice and evenly to the metal. The process almost looks like a hairdryer blowing out powder. If the frame is not cleaned properly before it is sprayed the powder will not adhere to the metal.

When a frame is powder coated there is a powder like substance that is sprayed all over the frame hence the name. All of our frames are media blasted and cleared from oil and dirt.
