Now we have come to planning out the roof for our teardrop trailer.
I m using a technique called poor man s fiberglass which involves canvas or bed sheets and paint or glue.

This poor mans fiberglass is an old boat deck sealing technique and used else where where bare wood is sealed by gluing a fabric to the surface and then painting the fabric.
The diy camper people have an exterior treatment they call poor man s fiberglass.
They refer to it as pmf a lot.
I chose canvas and paint specifically glidden gripper.
I got the plans for the teardrop free from the best teardrop traile.
Then you spread glue over the canvas then paint over it with several layers of exterior grade paint making sure the canvas soaks up all the paint and fills the fibers in.
